CFC Kenya celebrates First Fruits! |
Couples For Christ Kenya and its Family Ministries gathered for the First Fruits Assembly last February 7, 2010 (Sunday) at the CCU Hall, University of Nairobi. Around 150 members all over Nairobi came to be inspired on that day. The first CFC Major event of the year started at 9:00 am with an Opening Worship led by CFC Brother Emmanuel Muinde which was followed by a talk about First Fruits by the CFC National Director, Uncle Vincent Anami. At the same time, the CFC Kids For Christ gathered for their own First Fruits activity. Everyone then merged during the First Fruits Offering as Brother Nic Escalona, Jr. exhorted each individual and families to present their "First Fruits" to the altar. It was then followed by the Celebration of the Mass by Father Alphonse Ouma. The assembly ended by 1:00 pm as everyone went home feeling more blessed than ever.

CFC Kenya Family Day 09: FORWARD IN CHRIST TO FULLNESS IN CHRIST |
It was a sunny Sunday on December 6, 2009 of Nairobi City. CFC members together with their families and the rest of the CFC Family Ministries gathered to thank the Lord for the blessings of 2009. The day started with the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Vincent Wambugu (Secretary General – Kenya Episcopal Commission).Everybody was able to truly reflect on how Christ is calling us when Fr. Wambugu said, “Christ works thru contradiction, and us gathered as families is a contradiction to how most families are living their lives separately today.” And before the mass concluded, 30 new SFC members were prayed over and welcomed by the community. Around 350 members attended and enjoyed the day filled with games, showing off of talents, and praise & worship. The CFC 2010 theme was then explained by Bro. David Makonnen. Truly, 2009 was a moving FORWARD IN CHRIST for CFC Keny. The year 2010, we gear up in our work of evangelization and deepening our relationship with Christ. We all declare that we desire our FULLNESS OF LIFE IN CHRIST. (Nic Escalona Jr.) (To see more of Family Day Pictures, Click Read More) |

My Dream Big Conference Experience |
My name is Mitchelle and I am 8 years old. I am a KFC Member of Basilica Parish.I like attending the Kids Camp and the Kids Conferences. I enjoyed the Dream Big Kids Conference held on 28th November, 2009. I participated in most activities that were held. And I liked the show about the Dream World. I learned how to handle myself to others. I enjoyed the music specially the song, "Never Gonna Stop Loving You." I wish the conference could be held often because I feel once a year is not enough. |
