Singles For Christ Members from Nairobi went on Mission Exchange last June 20-21 and July 25-26, 2009 to some areas in Kenya that don't have Singles For Christ in their parishes. And here are there testimonies:  

Overwhelmed!

The whole experience was overwhelming for me,especially in Mtwapa Parish. After the activity was finished, one lady approached me and started to share about her life. She was even talking about personal issues that I could not imagine a stranger would talk about. After attending the SFC activity, it made her comfortable to talk to me. I was inspired by her sharing. I felt that God made me join that Mission Exchange for that particular person.

My Mission Trip to Mombasa was an awesome experience. Cars need petrol to run and work and in the same way our bodies need God. And I really felt God was with us the whole time. I shared to the other single men and women about how reading the Bible can help you. Then just today, someone from Mombasa sent me an SMS taken from the book of Mark 8:38 which says “If anyone in this faithless and corrupt age is ashamed of me and my doctrine, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes with the holy angels in his Father’s glory.”

Jesus can, yes we can!

 The mission trip to Kirinyaga was successful. At first I had a lot of fears and I didn’t know where to start. But later I realized that if Jesus can, I can do it, We all can do it. We are all going again in August and everyone is welcome to join.
