CFC Kenya Family Day 09: FORWARD IN CHRIST TO FULLNESS IN CHRIST PDF Print E-mail
 Entrance Hymn

It was a sunny Sunday on December 6, 2009 of Nairobi City. CFC members together with their families and the rest of the CFC Family Ministries gathered to thank the Lord for the blessings of 2009. The day started with the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Vincent Wambugu (Secretary General – Kenya Episcopal Commission).Everybody was able to truly reflect on how Christ is calling us when Fr. Wambugu said, “Christ works thru contradiction, and us gathered as families is a contradiction to how most families are living their lives separately today.” And before the mass concluded, 30 new SFC members were prayed over and welcomed by the community. Around 350 members attended and enjoyed the day filled with games, showing off of talents, and praise & worship. The CFC 2010 theme was then explained by Bro. David Makonnen.

Truly, 2009 was a moving FORWARD IN CHRIST for CFC Keny. The year 2010, we gear up in our work of evangelization and deepening our relationship with Christ. We all declare that we desire our FULLNESS OF LIFE IN CHRIST. (Nic Escalona Jr.)
