Empowering Africa's Culture Through Sustainable Public Investment.
This is CfCA - Connect for Culture Africa
Culture and Creative Industries (CCIs) are powerful engines for Africa’s socio-economic development, job creation, and regional integration. Yet, a persistent lack of funding has limited their full potential.
In response, the 33rd African Union General Assembly in Addis Ababa adopted Decision 772 (XXXIII), urging Member States to allocate at least 1% of national budgets to culture, arts, and heritage by 2030.
Connect for Culture Africa (CfCA) is at the forefront of turning this vision into reality. As a pan-African initiative, CfCA is committed to securing sustainable, impactful public investment for arts, culture, and heritage. Together with artists, governments, the private sector, cultural organizations, and citizens, we are committed to making culture count.
